Who We Are
Tuck & Roll Preschool is a unique program in the Valley as we combine gymnastics instruction & play with a strong academic program. We understand that each child has unique needs and interests. We provide the environment and tools your child needs to thrive to the best of their abilities. When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them.
Jen Wise : Preschool Director
Jen, our Tuck & Roll Director, is a North Bend local and is excited to be a part of Tuck & Roll Preschool! Her education includes a degree in Elementary Education and minor in Business. She spent 4 years teaching preschool at a homeschool co-op while tutoring kids of various ages. She was a competitive gymnastics coach for several years and has a passion for teaching children through discovery, movement, and fun! Jen and her husband live in Riverbend and enjoy spending time outside. They love to camp, eat great food, and hang out with their pup.
Maria Ruelas : Preschool Teacher
Maria joined the Tuck & Roll staff in the 2022-2023 school year. Her family moved to Snoqualmie in 2020 and love it here. Maria and her husband have two sweet kids that both attend Timber Ridge Elementary. She enjoys reading a good book, going on walks, and working out at the gym. She has previously worked in a Montessori School in Guadalajara, Mexico teaching English as well as teaching Spanish in the Bay Area. She specialized in working in small group intervention and helping 1:1 bilingual Spanish Elementary School.
Laura Hemphill : Preschool Teacher
Miss Laura has many years of experience working with kids. She was a 4th grade teacher in upstate New York for 8 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom where she was heavily involved in a MOMS Club and a volunteer in her kids’ schools in Delaware, Massachusetts, and now Washington. Her favorite school volunteer activities were working with grades K-5 in the library, teaching math enrichment to grades 1-5, and serving as a room parent. She lives in North Bend with her husband, two kids, two dogs, and two cats which all keep her very busy.
